Die AfD-Fraktion verfügt über 39 Sitze, die BSW-Fraktion über 5 Sitze, was zusammen 44 Abgeordnete ergibt. Bei der geheimen Wahl erhielt Rausch 48 Ja-Stimmen und damit exakt vier Stimmen mehr, als beide Fraktionen gemeinsam aufbringen können.
